This is a non-negotiable step toward unlocking future profitability, as Fertilizer is essential for Groves (your next major unlock). Build it and start it ASAP. The Silo can produce three batches of 30 bags in succession at a time. Each grove requires 30 bags of fertilizer to start production.
Fertilizer production is a resource bottleneck for the entire duration of the game. Your strategy must focus on maximizing the production of Fertilizer while minimizing the number of buildings that consume it.
Fertilizer is too scarce to waste on inefficiency.
